The wood-framed version of the 12 x 16 inch (300 x 400 mm) Grauves map.

The frame is ready to hang and crafted from solid, hand-stained wood, measuring 3/4 inch (20mm) on the front face and 1 1/4 inch (33mm) from the wall, for a clean, contemporary shadow-line look. A fine wax finish brings out the natural grain and warmth of the wood. Shatterproof plexiglass protects the map.

Grauves is a premier cru Champagne village in the Côte des Blancs.

This is one of the first maps in Mapping Champagne, a new series of maps by Steve De Long and Charles Curtis MW. It's the first modern update and expansion of the pioneering work of Larmat, which was done in the 1940s.
